Photojournalism

I am a Seattle-based freelance writer, editor, book editor and copywriter who has won 22 awards in investigative reporting, photography, feature writing, and design and written for such publications as Forbes, YES! Magazine and Memphis Magazine.

In journalism, I have specialized in writing investigative articles on the environment, education, and social justice issues. From 2010 to 2012, I was a reporter/photographer and news editor at the triweekly Kentucky Standard newspaper in Nelson County, Kentucky, covering education, cops and courts, government meetings, planning and zoning, and agriculture and business.

As director of content marketing and public relations for visual communication agency Killer Visual Strategies, I write about content marketing, visual communication, design, and more for such outlets as Forbes, Inc., and the Content Marketing Institute.
